On September 19th, 2023 at Clinton Global Initiative in New York City, the Caribbean Philanthropic Alliance (CariPhilAlliance) committed through Women-Led Climate Philanthropy to leverage a network of philanthropic stakeholders from the Global South and Global North to streamline funding to support civil society organizations and women engaged in climate-gender responsive programmes and climate action.

The CEO, Anthea McLaughlin and Board Chair, Rosalea Hamilton met with stakeholders at the Clinton Global Initiative and shared the importance of building an ecosystem of philanthropy to support NGOs and women delivering climate and gender-responsive programmes and services through the Alliance’s core strategic programmatic actions – partnerships, sustainable financing, and empowerment.
