A collaborative effort to plant a Million Trees in the Caribbean.
The Caribbean Tree Planting Project (CTPP), coordinated by the Caribbean Philanthropic Alliance (CariPhilAlliance) and partners, was highlighted by former President Bill Clinton at the 5 th meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Action Network on Post-Disaster Recovery held in Puerto Rico, February 17 – 18, 2020.
The CTPP aims to mobilize philanthropy in planting of one (1) million trees across the Caribbean by June 2021 as well as to foster collaboration among organizations, especially diaspora and youth organizations, encouraging youth leadership. In addition to national philanthropic support across 16 Caribbean countries, so far, the CariPhilAlliance has garnered regional support from:

Both President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton hosted over 500 leaders from across the Caribbean from government, business, and civil society where 28 new, specific, and measurable Commitments to Action were announced.
